What’s up—I’m Kev, the barber behind the chair at The Reynards Barber Suite.

 

I’ve been cutting professionally for 13 years, but my passion for the craft goes way back—starting in middle school in Southeast San Diego, giving full cuts and shape-ups to my boys before I even knew this would be my career. %

 

In 2008, at 17, I enrolled in the Grove Street Cuts barbering course at Miller Grove High School. That’s where I knocked out over half the hours required by the State Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. I later finished the rest at ProWay Hair School, and by 2011—just after my 19th birthday—I officially became a Master Barber.

Since then, I’ve sharpened my skills in everything from classic fades and clean tapers to modern styles and detailed beard grooming—working as a barber for international companies like corporate Google, as well as holding down smaller on-site barbering contracts. Through it all, I maintained a consistent presence at Master Barber Salon in downtown Atlanta, staying grounded and deeply connected to the craft. Eventually, I branched out and launched my own brand, Cali’s Barber Lounge.
